Circuits
•A whole heap of quality tracks will feature in this series. All of the tracks are new and made to suit the event.
•Every track is made in such way that you'll have to respect the track limits: by going off tarmac you'll be at risk, you can drive into tire lines or barriers. If you practice enough and take the necessary amount of care, there shouldn't be any problems.
•Every track will have a pit lane.
Season
•A season will consist of 10 Grand Prix races, which means that one season will take 11 weeks.
*There will be 1 week break after week 5.
•Throughout the season, we'll travel through San Andreas.
•When the spring season is finished, a winter/fall season will be schedule after a brief off-season.
Points system and rankings
•There will be two leaderboards: driver rankings and team rankings. Both aspects are important and they combine to make some interesting scenarios: If your team mate is behind you and you notice that he is much quicker than you, will you let him pass for the team rankings? Of course, you don't want to take your team mate out, but you'll also wish to do as well as possible - your teammate is another competitor, after all.
•We'll use the official Formula One points system for the Main Races:
1st - 50 points
2nd - 45 points
3rd - 41 points
4th - 38 points
5th - 36 points
6th - 34 points
7th - 32 points
8th - 30 points
9th - 28 points
10th - 26 points
11th - 24 points
12th - 22 points
13th - 22 points
14th - 20 points
13th - 18 points
14th - 16 points
15th - 14 points
16th - 12 points
17th - 10 points
18th - 9 points
19th - 8 points
20th - 7 points
21st - 6 points
22nd - 5 points
23rd - 4 points
24th - 3 points
25th - 30th ( will receive 2 points ) all participation DQ's will also result in 2 points.
* Missing a race completely will result in a 0 points result.
• You'll only receive these points if your name is in the race results.
For the Sprint Races the point system will be as follows :
1st - 30 points
2nd - 29 points
3rd - 28 points
etc...
* points will move downward by a single point, regardless of participants number.
Race Day
Qualifying Qualifying will be done in 4 session each 30 mins long. )
• Qualifying times and the time of day during each qualifying
17:00 GMT Fridays (morning)
22:00 GMT Fridays (Noon)
02:00 GMT Saturdays (Night)
17:00 GMT Saturdays (Morning)
Most Races Will Be Noon Time Of The Day
So to have the qualifications done by raceday we are going to be doing qualifying during these times. I will host, send invites out and you can join at the times above, I'll take a screen shot and we'll have the grid sorted by race day and go right into racing. If you do not make one of the four times you will not have an official qualifying time and your grid place will be at the back based on your finishing position the previous main race * Co-Host may also host. Because this week all drivers may not receive the info in time Kdawg or myself will most likely get people who did not hear about it in time a chance to qualify while we gather the 30 minutes prior to race start.22:00 GMT Fridays (Noon)
02:00 GMT Saturdays (Night)
17:00 GMT Saturdays (Morning)
Most Races Will Be Noon Time Of The Day
*You can only qualify once per week
*Qualifying will be replayed until 30 min marker is met set depending to the track avg. (most likely in less than 10 min sets of laps)
• Qualifying will be set on GTA Race (so the pit lane is usable). You'll have to make sure for yourself that you have enough space between the driver in front of you and the driver behind you to set a clean hot lap. So, if you're in a Massacaro and the track suits the Massacaro, and you see a Coquette in front of you, you are likely to catch up to him rather fast. Make enough room for yourself.
• The person with the best lap time starts on pole, 2nd best lap time 2nd, etc.
Sprint Race
• To set this event apart a little bit from the Formula One Championship and the Endurance Sunday Series, every Race Day will consist of a Sprint Race and a Main Race.
• The Sprint Race will be a shorter race of approximately 10 minutes. The starting order of this race will be the reverse of the qualifying results.
• Just like for the Main Race, points will be awarded for the Sprint Race as well. However the amount of points awarded will be smaller (we have to discuss the exact amount of points still.
• Don't finish until the official gives permission: everyone needs to finish, so we'll have to gather up first.
The Main Event
• The Main Race will still be the most prestigious part of every Race Day. This race will last about 30 minutes and full points are awarded.
• The starting order of the Main Race is determined in the qualifying session.
• The Main Race will also feature mandatory pit-stops (see next paragraph)
• Don't finish until the official gives permission: everyone needs to finish, so we'll have to gather up first.
Mandatory pit-stops
• In the Main Race every driver has to make a pit stop during the pit window. For example, in a 20 lap race, the pit window will be between lap 10 and lap 15. During these five laps (this is called the pit window), every driver has to make a pit stop.
• If someone does not make a pit stop during the pit window, he will receive a time penalty. The time penalty will be roughly twice the time it takes to make a pit stop. This time will be added to your finish time, and you might drop a position or several.
Note that teams will be formed by your car choice. Each team will have 2 racers - No more, no less. 3 is one too many, 4 is right out!
There will be a ban on both *racecar Massacaro and Jester, and Elegy.
Available Cars :
1. Coquette
2. Alpha
3. Carbonizzare
4. Banshee
5. Comet
6. Surano
7. 9F
8. Jester
9. Feltzer
10. Massacro
There will be only 4 of each car available, making a total of 2 teams of 2. * That will make a total of 38 Drivers. You can pick your teamate or you will be teamed by default but your cars should match one of the patterns below.
Livery - Can be done in these 3 combinations ... Matching (the same eveything) , Opposite ( Reverse Coloring) , Contrast ( Same Color, different color tires)
* we expect that not everyone will make it to every race but in the event this happens the Last 6 Qualifying times will not qualify for the race.
we will have a month before so everyone can pick cars and we can sort out any conflicts. you can make negotiations with other drivers in an attempt to drive for a specific manufacture, however that is their option to swap, but cars will be selected on a first come first serve basis, after they have been chosen they are locked unless the driver withdrew or opens his spot.
Registration Confirmation :
* To make car selection fair we will have a registration system ( you will want a ps mobile app, or be able to use your psn msg'ing to confirm your car and spot )
1. state you would like to sign up and which car you would like to use here on this thread, this will sort any confusion of which car and give a line of communication and contact for the event.
2. you will be added to a chat for the event * Do not delete this chat
3. registration will begin March 14th @ 00:00 GMT all timezones and closes March 20th @ 00:00 GMT *the day before race day
4. register by personal message to me on PSN during that time frame for your confirmation.
Restrictions
1. No Off Road Tires / Why ? because this is a formal event and you will not be using a curb boost as an advantage, you won't need off roads. In addition they look horrendous and again this is a racing season, not an albyers playlist. So no off roads
2. No Armor / Why ? because we want crashes to simulate damage, it make the pits more relevant and adds another dynamic to the realism that were are trying to achieve (yes it's an arcade style racing game, but we won't to make it as official as possible
3. No Weapons / Why ? because we will be doing this in GTA mode for the use of the pits weapons will be available, using weapons during a race, or killing during races or setup's will result in a Immediate DQ and consideration from dropping you from the event entirely. So NO GUNS
FAQ's and Issues
Disconnections - If more than 5 people disconnect before the first lap is finished there will be a restart. Disconnections after this period will result in a Mechanical failure DQ
Lagg - During contact races lagg can be a huge problem, and we expect it could pose a thread to the 30 players as well. Severe lagging can result in you being flagged for caution/danger.
Conflicts - A number of issues from crash situations to violations of the rules. you are requested to use the record feature during the races so you can show issues to the co-hosts who will deliberate the best action.
Penalties - Can range from , selection of a un-registered car, to major crashes where the racing etiquette comes into question and can result in a - 5 points

1. What Car (team) you would like to drive with.
2. What cars you have, just in case.
Small Closing Note : We welcome all drivers to the competition and desire that competitive nature, it's what makes racing racing. It's great to win, but doing it in a car your unfamiliar with, or is not expected to place well. becomes a true triumph. If your a strong driver and you know you'd dominate in a certain car, we encourage you to bring recognition and a podium placement to the underdog vehicles, and first and foremost, have fun !!!
